About ten years ago I really started thinking about my coffee experiences. I started to understand that coffee can be so much more than just a cup of mud.
Coffee roasting started as a way to learn more about coffee, and to give me something to do while I was unemployed. Soon it became an obsession and a form of self expression.
The more I learned about coffee the more it made sense to me. From farm to process to shipping to roasting to brewing - each step is crucial to bring out the best in any given bean. That cup of coffee you make every morning has been touched by people all over the world. Coffee is such an important part of so many different cultures across the globe, and yet most people know very little about it.
